Sculpted as a courting pair with its partner (see photos) this charming sculpture captures a moment of intimacy between these intelligent, enduring and adaptable animals. Although each sculpture will work just as well as a standalone piece, we are offering a £250 discount (inclusive of VAT) on the total price if purchased as a pair.
High-fired ceramic animal sculpture employs multiple layers of underglaze painstakingly built up in layers and individually fired to create a complex and subtle tonal palette. It creates a natural looking matt finish which captures the subtle variations of tone and colour found in nature. The high firing also results in a very strong sculpture, which will provide a wonderful focal point in any space.
